The 2019 Ford F-250 Super Duty lineup also provides a maximum towing rating of 18,500 pounds and a maximum payload rating of 7,630 pounds. The 2019 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 provides a maximum towing rating of only 15,400 pounds and a maximum payload rating of only 3,435 pounds.
You will save some money if you choose the 2019 Ford Super Duty F-250 over the 2019 Chevy Silverado 2500HD. The entry level F-250 has an MSRP starting around $33,000 and the Silverado 2500HD starts around $37,500. Both of these trucks are available with elevated trim levels and plenty of extra features that increase pricing but across the board, the F-250 offers more truck for the money.
The new F-250 Super Duty and the Silverado 2500HD are well equipped with driver and passenger friendly features. Both interiors offer comfortable seating for five and available heated front seats but only the F-250 has leather seats, rear air conditioning vents and available heated rear seats.
The large size of these trucks allows for a spacious cabin in each but the F-250 Super Duty affords more room for the driver and passengers to stretch out. The F-Super Duty Super Cab has 1.8 inches more front hip room, 1.9 inches more front shoulder room, 1.6 inches more rear headroom, 4.5 inches more rear hip room and 1.5 inches more rear shoulder room than the Silverado HD Double Cab. The F-Super Duty Crew Cab has 1.8 inches more front hip room, 1.9 inches more front shoulder room, 2.7 inches more rear legroom, 4.5 inches more rear hip room and 1.6 inches more rear shoulder room than the Silverado HD Crew Cab.
